Privacy policy
Short version: your lists stay in your browser, FeedCut doesn’t record what you watch, and there are no ads or analytics.
What FeedCut stores
Your blocked channels, your words, your switches and, if you set one, a scrambled form of your PIN. They are kept in your browser’s extension storage on your computer. If your browser’s own sync is on, the browser may copy them to your other computers signed in to it; that sync is run by your browser’s maker, and we never see it.
What FeedCut does not collect
- What you watch, search for or click on YouTube.
- Your Google or YouTube account details.
- Analytics, crash reports with page content, or advertising identifiers.
FeedCut reads YouTube pages only inside your browser, to decide what to hide. That never leaves your computer.
What FeedCut sends
Nothing. FeedCut has no account and no server of its own, so your lists and settings never reach us. The only copy outside this computer is the one your browser’s own sync makes, if you turn it on.
Permissions
- Storage — to keep your lists and settings.
- Access to www.youtube.com — to filter the page. FeedCut runs on no other site.
